摘要
从4G网络高流量区域容量需求出发,分析了采用Massive MIMO技术的4G基站对现有网络容量的提升效果,并结合Massive MIMO基站自身的物理特性,从设备安装及电源、传输配套等方面分析工程实施的难易程度,建议运营商将Massive MIMO基站作为4G网络向5G网络过渡时期的容量补充手段,只针对局部区域采用Massive MIMO基站来提高网络容量。
According to the capacity requirements of high-throughput areas in 4G networks, the capacity enhancement effect of existing networks for 4G base stations using Massive MIMO technology was analyzed. Combined with the physical characteristics of Massive MIMO base stations, the difficulty of the engineering and implementation was addressed from aspects of equipment installation, power supply and transport. It was suggested that Massive MIMO base stations should be the supplementary means in the transition period from 4G networks to 5G networks. Massive MIMO base stations are only used in local areas to increase the network capacity.
