摘要
达龙·阿塞莫格鲁从理论视角出发考察了制度变迁的原因、制度及其变迁如何影响经济绩效,从而形成其制度增长理论。从实证视角出发,他通过运用经济史研究的方法证实了制度对长期经济绩效具有关键作用,为其制度增长理论提供了经验证据。阿塞莫格鲁的制度增长理论的贡献在于开启了经济学不同领域新的综合,并为经验事实提供了更可靠的解释。中国经济已进入新的发展阶段,阿塞莫格鲁的理论与实证研究对中国经济增长与制度改革具有重大启示意义。
This paper discusses Acemoglu's research on the role of institutions in long-run economic growth and development. In the theoretical research,Acemoglu investigated the persistence and reform of institutions,including their causes and the economic performance of institutional change. These theories consist of his institutional growth theory. In the empirical research,Acemoglu applied the research method of economic history to confirm the fundamental impact of institutions on long-run economic performance. This study provides empirical evidence to his institutional growth theory. The contribution of Acemoglu's institutional growth theory starts a new synthesis of different economic research fields and provides more rigorous explanations for empirical facts. In addition,Acemoglu's institutional growth theory has significant inspiration for China's economic development.
