摘要
为数不多的民国工业卫生调查,揭示出工厂的工作环境和卫生条件恶劣,工人健康状况堪忧、职业病盛行。近代中国工业的发展极大地损害了劳工群体的健康,劳动力身体素质低下也制约了工业化的进程。工业卫生问题恰能反映出当时国家主权不完整、经济形势变化、劳动力市场供求状况和社会结构的调整,社会学者倡导工业卫生本身也具有某些环境正义的色彩。
A handful of surveys about industrial hygiene of Republic of China reveal that the factories’ working environment and health conditions were poor. At that time, workers’ health were a big problem and occupational diseases prevailed. The development of industry in Modern China hardly impaired the health of the workforce, and a low quality of laborer restricted the progress of industrialization. The problem of industrial hygiene exactly reflected the half-baked national sovereignty, the changing economic situation, the supply and demand about labor market and the adjustment of social structure. Social scholars advocate that industrial hygiene in itself has some color of the environmental justice.
