摘要
合理正确的调群切分往往反映出语调、句法以及信息三方面的内容,因此对信息的有效传递和交际的顺利进行至关重要。本研究以Halliday语调三重系统中的调群切分和Cruttenden调群边界四大外部声学指征为理论基础,以美国本族语者为参照标准,借助语音分析软件Praat及统计学软件SPSS,对长春地区EFL学习者朗读英语陈述疑问句时的调群切分模式进行了探究。研究发现EFL学习者在调群切分的数量、长度,调群切分依靠的边界指征,以及调群切分与句法结构的关系等方面均存在显著性差异。
Correct and proper intonation grouping usually reflects the correlations among intonation,syntax and information,and therefore,it decides the effective transitions of information and successful communication.Based on Halliday's concept of tonality and Cruttenden's four acoustic markers of intonation grouping,this thesis mainly studies the intonation grouping model of the EFL learners in Changchun when they read declarative questions,with the help of Praat and SPSS.The findings show that there are significant differences between EFL learners'model and native speakers'model in terms of the number and length of intonation grouping,the boundary markers and the relationship between intonation grouping and syntactic structure.
