摘要
中国发展引起国际社会高度关注,引导国际社会正确认识和对待中华复兴、为中国和平发展营造良好的国际环境是侨务公共外交的重要历史使命。中国是侨务资源大国,华侨华人具有开展公共外交的资源优势、传播优势、融入优势和长久优势,已成为开展侨务公共外交的践行者和主力军。当前中国的侨务公共外交缺乏顶层设计,面临战略和协同机制缺位、主体定位模糊、华侨华人主体形象亟须提升等诸多问题。未来侨务公共外交如能"基于华社,超越华社",进一步拓宽思路,通过华侨华人影响住在国国会、智库和媒体,充分运用信息化和文化的力量,夯实侨务公共外交的价值观基础,必将对中国对外关系的发展起到更加重要的促进作用。
The fast development of China has drawn a lot of attention from international community.The public diplomacy in overseas Chinese affairs is shouldering an important historical mission to guide the international community to understand China’s rejuvenation so as to create a favorable international environment for China’s peaceful development.Since China is a big country with rich overseas Chinese resources,overseas Chinese possess many advantages of public diplomacy.However,there is a lack of top-level design,the public diplomacy in overseas Chinese affairs faces many problems.In the future,the public diplomacy in overseas Chinese affairs will play a more important role in promoting the development of China’s foreign relations.
