摘要
古代贵族实行一种以媵妾随嫁的多妻制婚姻,即媵妾制度。媵妾制在先秦经历了初成、繁盛以及衰亡的历程,秦汉以后,媵妾制度的发展轨迹有所改变。到唐宋时期,"媵"已被赋予了新的内涵,"媵"与"妾"也由不同的范畴逐渐混合互补。然而不论时代如何变化,"以妾为妻"始终不为世人所接受。
The ancient nobility implements polygamy with accompanying concubine, namely the concubine system. The concubine system experienced the beginning,prosperity and decline of the course in the pre-Qin,the development of the concubine system changed after the Qin and Han dynasties. The connotation of＂Accompanying＂has been given new connotation in the Tang and Song dynasties.＂Accompanying＂and＂concubine＂are gradually mixed by different categories. However,＂taking concubine as wife＂is always not accepted by the world no matter how the times change.
