摘要
西方人类学关于"物的民族志"研究,基于"物"的"客体""主-客体"和"主客一体化"的认知,经历了从物的意义去关注人的存在和社会秩序构建到物作为自我的延伸,书写物的生命史和文化传记的发展历程。而在我国传统文化中,物从来就不是一个独立的存在体,是"物即事、物即礼、物即人"的"物、事、礼、人"综合体。随着我国消费社会和遗产保护的发展,物与物质文化再次成为研究的焦点,但仍以西方关于物的研究视角为主,分析物与物质文化的意义。文章从中国传统文化关于"物"的认知出发,以傣族织锦手工艺品为分析对象,探寻"物的民族志"研究本土化视角。
The study of the "ethnography of objects"in Western anthropology relies on the perception on "object"as "object itself","subject vs.object"and "subject and object as a whole",whose process is a shift from the concern over human existence and the construction of social order in the context of"object"to its extended meaning,that is,a way of writing the history and culture of"object"itself.In traditional Chinese culture,however,"object"is seen as a compound of"objects,events,etiquettes and humans",rather than an independent being.With the development of a consumer society and the on-going heritage protection campaign in China,"object"and material culture have again become the focus of the study whose perspective is of the West.This paper aims to explore an indigenous writing of"an ethnography of objects"with the Dai people's brocade handicrafts as the research object in the cognitive perspective of"objects"in traditional Chinese culture.
