Objective To explore the application effect of systematic nursing intervention on depression pa-tients in the open ward of psychiatry department. Methods Simple sampling method was used to choose 100 depres-sion patients received for treatment in the open ward of psychiatry department in this hospital from January to July, 2016 . The patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table ( 50 cases each ) . Ordinary usual nursing of psychiatry department was given to control group, and systematic nursing intervention was giv-en to observation group on this basis. The course of treatment was 6 weeks for both groups. HAMD was used to evaluate the curative effect 2, 4 and 6 weeks before and after treatment. After treatment for 6 weeks, HAMD reducing score rate was used to evaluate the overall curative effect and compare the curative effect of patients in both groups. Results HAMD of patients in both groups was compared on the weekend of week 4 and week 6 of treatment ( P〈0. 05 ) . On the weekend of week 6 of treatment, the total effective rate of observation group was 91. 7% and the total effective rate of control group was 76. 6%. With regard to the comparison of two groups, the difference had statistical significance ( P〈0. 05 ) . Conclusion Systematic nursing intervention has good curative effect on depression patients and improves self-efficacy of patients so as to relieve their emotional symptom, reduce psychological social negative effect and improve pa-tients' living quality.
