In September 2017, the interbank RMB market remained active and traded 79.2 trillion yuan, up 3.9% month-on-month, with an average daily trading worth of 3.6 trillion yuan. The liquidity in the interbank money market maintained a tight balance, and the money market interest rates picked up slightly; the yields to maturity of cash bonds shifted downward with a flattening yield curve, and the credit spreads narrowed down; the IRS rates saw ups and downs, so did the closing curves of major traded varieties.
