教育社会学研究与发展的学科特征——兼论“强语法”建设的可能路径

The Disciplinary Characteristics of Sociology of Education:On the Possible Realization of “Strong Grammar”

摘要 教育社会学一直以来都被认为是在理论建设上非常薄弱的学科。本文通过梳理教育社会学学科发展的文献,从教育社会学与其他学科之间的关系、学科内部各种研究取向的关系、理论发展趋势等方面,探究了教育社会学理论建设薄弱的原因。教育社会学的"弱语法"正体现了其作为"领域性"(region)学科的特征,超越了传统"学科模式"(discipline)的框架,形成了多种知识体系的融合。目前教育社会学的主要问题或困境是多学科要素之间还没有得到很好的融合、整合与统整。 It has been universally acknowledged that sociology of education is weak in theory construction. It examines the sociology of education from the perspective of its recent debate as a discipline and attempts to access the current state of the field. Several factors have contributed to its "weak grammar", including the inter-relationship between sociology of education and other disciplines, intra-relationship between different research paradigms, new trend of "new sociology", and description of language. It argues that "weak grammar" might not be the deficiency or drawbacks, but the characteristics of sociology of education as a field. Therefore, the main problem is to integrate and incorporate theory system and knowledges from different singular disciplines into a coherent one.
