摘要
学术英语EAP是我国大学英语教学中专门用途英语ESP分支中的重要领域。新形势下的大学英语教学目标以英语的实际使用为导向,以培养学生的英语应用能力为重点。需求分析是开设新课程的先决条件。完善合理的EAP课程设置必须基于学生和教师的需求分析,结合教学第三方(教育部、学校、二级学院)的教学目标才能实现。
EAP is one of the important sub-branches of ESP in college English. Under the current situation, the goal of college English teaching is to cultivate learners' ability to use English in their future professions. Needs analysis is one of the prerequisites in the work of designing a new course. Thus, a rational EAP course design must be based on the needs analysis of the students and the teachers. At the same time the policies and requirements of the concerned authorities should be taken into consideration.
