摘要
A Plate+C Plate可补偿IPS-LCD的大倾斜视角。通过光学软件理论模拟出λ/4+C Plate波片结构中所需厚度方向位相差R_(th)的数值区间,再实验制作出不同的+C Plate补偿膜,将此补偿膜与λ/4波片制成复合薄膜,再将此复合薄膜应用到IPS-LCD显示屏上,研究其不同R_e和R_(th)的复合薄膜对IPS-LCD黑态漏光的补偿效果。具体研究了在常见的3种不同液晶盒厚情况下,复合薄膜的R_e和R_(th)对IPS-LCD离轴黑态漏光的影响,从中得出了IPS-LCD离轴漏光A+C补偿优化组合,尤其,R_(th)=60nm、R_e=140nm的λ/4+C Plate对4μm盒厚的IPS-LCD起到很好的大视角漏光补偿表现。
The combination of A Plate and C Plate can improve the visual angle of IPS-LCD. This paper studies the improvement in axis-off light leakage of in-plane switching (IPS) liquid crystal display(LCD) using a laminated film of a λ/4 wave plate and a +C compensation film. According to theoretical investigation and experimental verification, this paper investigates the compensation phe- nomenon of laminated film in axis-off light leakage of IPS-LCD with different cell gap. An optimized combination of retardation value can be obtained. Especially, the λ/4+C plate with Rth=60 nm and Re = 140 nm can improve greatly the visual angle of IPS-LCD which is 4μm gap.
