摘要
采用批评话语分析法,同时结合社会学理论,对英国从希斯首相到布莱尔首相期间的17种教育文献进行了研究,旨在探讨英国知识经济早期教育政策话语的演进特征。研究发现:英国知识经济早期教育政策有三个连续性焦点,即撒切尔新自由主义政府时期对教育产出技术的重视;梅杰过渡政府时期注重教育竞争力的提升;布莱尔新工党政府时期着力发展具有国际竞争力的技术型经济。
By using critical discourse analysis and social theory, this paper examined a corpus of seventeen education papers spanning Prime Ministers from Edward Heath to Tony Blair, aiming to probe into the involving changes of UK educational discourse during three decades of the early knowledge - based economy. The study identified three successive educational policy concerns : a technocratic focus on educational outputs under Thatcher’s neo - liberal government, a visionary discourse of competitiveness under Major’s caretaker government, and a strategic policy aimed at building an internationally competitive, skills - based, economy under Blair’s New Labour Government.
