摘要
20世纪初,英国开始尝试通过建设新城的方式来解决"城市病"的困扰,至第二次世界大战前已建成两座田园城市及一座卫星城,并吸引了大量的中等收入人群迁入。经过了几十年的摸索,英国的新城建设取得了成功,其经验有不少值得借鉴之处。其中,高性价比的住房、先进的交通、科学的产业结构是新城建设取得成功的重要因素。
In the early 20th century, news towns was constructed in UK to cure urban disease. There were two Garden Cities and a satellite town had been constructed before World War II, which attracted many middle-income groups. After decades of exploration, new towns construction was successful.Best price ra- tio houses, advanced transportation and reasonable industrial structure were the three of most useful expe- riences, which we can study today.
