摘要
技术是设计实现的物质基础,但技术问题又不是单纯的物质问题。在中国传统设计中,这集中体现为"机械"与"机心"的关系。所谓"机心",是指人的欲望和需求。设计中的技术与欲望,是中国传统设计与技术文化中的两个基本维度。然而,在不同的设计领域中,"机心"对技术有不同的要求。在劳动生产中,设计对技术的要求是减少人体力的消耗以及提高生产效率,桔槔就是这类机械的典型。作为此类技术传播、发展的结果,人会获得劳动中的舒适性以及空余时间,这为人进一步在生活中追求舒适和娱乐提供了可能。如汉代丁缓设计的常满灯,如石虎的舂车,都是这一技术逻辑的直接呈现。并且,技术还会超越纯粹的物质生产与生活,而介入复杂的社会运作。象征属性的获得是技术得以进入社会生活的关键,如欹器、指南车。摘要:
Technology is the material basis of design implementation. However, technology issues are not simple material problems. In Chinese traditional design, technology issues particularly reflect on the relationship between ＂machine＂ and ＂movement＂. The so-called ＂movement＂ means people＇s desire and need. The desire and need in design are two basic latitudes in Chinese traditional design and technology culture. In different design fields, movement has different requires for technology. When it is in the labor production, the design＇s require for technology lies on declining consumption of physical power and improving production efficiency. One of the representatives is shaduf. As a result, people can acquire comfort and free time from the design, making it possible for themselves to pursue the comfort and entertainment in their living. Other examples can be enumerated such as ＂Changman lantern＂designed by Ding Huan in Han dynasty, grain huller designed by Shi Hu, directly showing the logic in the technology. What is more, the technology will surpass the pure material production and living then get involved in the complicated social operation. The acquisition of symbolic attribute is the key to technology to get involved in social life including the South Pointing Chariot and Qi utensils.
