摘要
汤姆·斯托帕德的《戏谑》通过使用人物形象的不协调、性格的不确定、身份的双重性,戏仿、拼贴的话语策略以及无终结的环形叙事结构和时空的错位等艺术手法,体现出了浓厚的后现代主义艺术性。
This paper aims at exploring postmodernist characteristics of Tom Stoppard's Travesties through analysis of the contradiction of characterization,namely,inconsistent images,uncertain characters,dual identity,and diversified language such as parody,pastiche as well as repetitive narrative structure,dislocation of time and space,emphasizing strong postmodern artistic quality embodied in the drama.
