张爱民首次公开了一枚1975年收藏的在日军侵华期间由伪厚和警察局颁发的厚和妓馆"慰安妇"健康证章,发现地位于凉城县双古城公社靠近杀虎口附近地区。经伍胜利先生考证,厚和妓馆位于今呼和浩特市玉泉区大北街"议事厅"(原日本厚和宪兵分队驻地)东侧的东马道巷内,距离日本宪兵队驻地100多米远,是日军的慰安所,旧址现为呼和浩特市盲人按摩医院。日军第26师团于1937年10月至1944年7月间,担任山西大同到厚和、包头的平绥铁路线警备任务,他们在上述地区强征"慰安妇"设置慰安所,实施大规模有组织的性暴力犯罪。
ZHANG Ai-min for the first time makes known to the public a health badge （collected in 1975） issued to a comforting woman＂ in the Brothel of Huhhot by the pseudo Huhhot Police during the Japanese invasion of China, and the discovery site of the badge is near the area called Shahukou near the Commune of Double Ancient Cities in Liangcheng County. According to the textual research by Mr. WU Sheng-li, the Brothel of Huhhot-the Japanese comfort station （with its old site of the current Hohhot Blind Massage Hospital） was located in the lane of Dongma which was on the east of the Council Hall （o- riginally the residence of Japanese military police division） in Dabei Street of ＂Jade-Spring District＂ with a distance of over 100 meters from the residence of Japanese military police. From October 1937 to July 1944, the Ping-Sui Railway Line from Shanxi to Datong and Baotou was mainly guarded by the Japanese 26th army division, and so it was highly possible that they forcefully recruited ＂comforting women＂ and established the comfort station to commit large-scale violent sexual crimes.
