Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Jinlian Qingre Effervescent Tablets in the treatment of pediatric hand-foot-and-mouth disease. Methods: Cochrane systematic evaluation method was applied to retrieval the data in Cochrane Library,EMbase,Pub Med,CBM,CNKI,VIP and Wanfang Database to search for the random control trials for hand-foot-and-mouth disease during the period from the establishment of the databases to June 2016. Two valuer independently screened the literature, extract data and assessment quality according to the inclusive and exclusive criteria and then analyzed with Rev Man 5. 2 software. Results: Totally 8 literature with 1170 cases were included,591 cases in experimental group and 579 cases in control group. Compared with control group, the effective rate in Jinlian Qingre Effervescent Tablets group was higher than that in control group( OR = 5. 05,95% CI[3. 07,8. 29]),which can effectively shorten the fever abatement time( WMD =-51. 42,95% CI[-58. 22,-44. 61]) and rash abatement time( WMD =-1. 96,95% CI[-2. 60,-1. 33]); the difference had statistical significance. Conclusion: Jinlian Qingre Effervescent Tablets have certain advantages in the treatment of hand-foot-and-mouth disease. However, the number of included literature was relatively few and the quality was relatively poor. It still needs RCT with large samples and rigorous design to confirm.
