先秦儒家“止”思想及其内在矛盾

摘要 "止"是儒家哲学体系中一个较为重要的概念,见于《大学》、《周易》、《论语》等儒家经典文本之中。"止"大致有"停止"和"至于某处而不迁"两种含义,前者反映了儒家适时而动的处事原则,后者体现了儒者对于"止于至善"的追求,此外"止"概念所包含的规定性与儒家的"礼"相通。"止"的两重含义能够打通"中庸"、"仁"、"至善"等儒家核心概念,但"止"概念所内含的知与行、礼制的可行性、止于至善的追求和止于经典的现实之间的矛盾不可忽视。 "Zhi"is an important concept in the Confucian philosophy system,which scattered in The Great Learning,Book of Changes,the Analects of Confucius and other Confucian classic texts."Zhi"roughly has two kinds of meaning,namely"stop"and"for somewhere not move". The former reflects the Confucian timely and moving principle of doing things;the latter embodies the Confucian pursuit to" strive for perfection". Besides, " Zhi" contained in the concept of rule and the Confucian" Rites"connected. Double meaning on"Zhi"to open zhongyong,benevolence,perfection and other core concepts of Confucianism. But the inherent contradictions between knowing and doing,pursuit of etiquette feasibility,striving for perfection and sticking to the classics can not be ignored.
