摘要
本文通过对中国科技工作者分层状况调查得到的数据,考察两性科技工作者的社会分层差异,并进一步从体制主义科学社会学和女性主义科学社会学两个视角所提出的两种效应:马太效应和玛蒂尔达效应出发,探讨导致科技工作者分层地位性别不平等的作用机制。研究发现,我国女性科技工作者的分层地位显著地低于男性。马太效应并不会拉大两性之间的差距,玛蒂尔达效应才是导致性别不平等的重要机制。
With the data obtained in the survey of the social stratification in Chinese S&T professionals, this paper examines gender differences in science, and further discusses the functional mechanism, Matthew effect and Matilda effect, which resulted in gender inequalities from the perspectives of institutional sociology of science and feminist sociology of science. The results show that women scientists occupy far less of hierarchical status than men scientists in China. It is the important mechanism of Matilda effect, other than Matthew effect, which can well exolain the gender difference and ineoualitv in Chinese science.
