摘要
秉持批判传统文化根弊病、陈规陋习等传统,老舍不遗余力地批判了趋欧崇洋这一民族痼疾和因民族自卑产生的趋欧崇洋者,如洋奴青年、中西"调和派"、教徒等,并丑化西方人来寻求民族身份认同。与同时期作家相比,老舍对西方文明的态度明显属于保守的一派,这种价值立场与其自身经历有关,也与其民族传统文化的一贯坚持、固守有关。
Lao She spared no effort to criticize the xenophile, the slave of a foreign master, the reconcile fraction, domestic believers of the Christian, etc. as he did to the defects in outdated customs and traditions. He also vilified the Westerners to seek national identity. Compared with the writers of the same period, Lao She＇s attitude towards Western civilization is obviously conservative, which is related to his experience and his adherence to the traditional culture of the nation.
