摘要
当代平面艺术设计在西方文化影响与自身发展要求的双重挑战下,既要时时加入新的设计元素,又要将传统文化继承下去,发掘传统文化中的平面设计元素,并将其融入艺术设计中。本文首先分析了视觉传达设计教育应该回归到传统文化教育,然后重点从传统文化在融入过程中遇到的问题以及发掘传统文化的五大平面设计元素:书法、篆刻、水墨画、中国红和吉祥图案,分析了传统文化在平面艺术设计中的应用,最后总结全文。
