摘要
在新媒体无处不在的今天,视觉符号的修辞作用不断凸显。国外视觉修辞研究已近20年,本研究梳理了视觉修辞的定义、研究问题和研究方法,重点关注视觉论辩研究、视觉修辞格研究、政治形象视觉修辞研究、广告视觉修辞研究、流行文化视觉修辞研究等五大研究焦点,并展望了视觉修辞研究的研究趋势,认为视觉修辞的系统性研究、图像方言研究、多模态研究和伦理研究等将成为视觉修辞研究的研究热点。国外视觉修辞研究的焦点梳理和热点展望,可为国内学界方兴未艾的视觉修辞研究提供国际化参考。
With the ubiquity of New Media,the rhetorical function of visual symbols is becoming more and more important.Although not popular in China,the visual rhetoric studies have been carried on for almost 20 years overseas. This study introduces the definition and research methodologies of visual rhetoric. In addition,it studies the three themes to which visual rhetoricians have paid attention: 1) visual argumentation; 2) visual rhetoric figures; 3) visual rhetoric studies on political image;4) visual rhetoric studies on advertisement; 5) visual rhetoric studies on popular culture. Finally,it presents visions for visual rhetoric studies. The authors believe that the following areas will be the focus of future visual rhetoric studies: 1) systematic research on visual rhetorics; 2) studies on image vernaculars; 3) multi-model studies; 4) studies on visual ethics. With the investigation of themes and visions,this study hopes to provide theoretical sources for domestic visual rhetoric studies.
