Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention on improving the com- pliance and success rate of puncture in the process of children venous transfusion. Methods A total of 80 cases of chil- dren performing venous transfusion in our hospital from July 2014 to March 2016 were enrolled and divided into control group and experimental group according to admission order, with 40 cases in each group. Children in the control group were given traditional nursing, while children in the experimental group were given traditional nursing and comprehensive nurs- ing, and the compliance, success rate of puncture in the process of children" venous transfusion and care satisfaction of family members between the two groups were compared. Results The total compliance rate of the experimental group was 97.5%, which was higher than 80.0% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=6.135, P=0.013). The satisfaction rate of the experiment group was 97.5%, which was higher than 77.5% of the control group (χ2=7.314, P=0.007). The success rate of puncture in the experimental group was 97.5%, which was higher than 82.5% in the control group (χ2=5.000, P=0.025). Conclusion In the process of children venous transfusion, effective nursing intervention can improve the compliance, success rate of puncture and satisfaction of children" family members, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
