摘要
2016年,美国社会爆发"女性主义冰川学事件"。批评者(西方中心论者、男性、自然科学家、公众)坚持西方科学的普遍性与客观性神话,否定女性主义研究的价值。女性主义冰川学研究者则关注冰川学知识生产背后不平等的性别关系与权力结构,批评自然科学中的男权意识形态与殖民主义话语。这一局内人与局外人立场尖锐对立的状况,不仅暴露了美国社会的政治极化和女性主义研究的困难处境,更显示出跨学科理解中多元主义的重要性。
Feminist Glaciology Event bursting out in 2016 has aroused a severe debate in American society. Whereas those opposites in-cluding west-centralists, males, natural scientists and the public insisted on the myth of universality and objectivity of western science and devalued the feminist study, the feminist glaciology researchers concerned about the unequal gender relation and power structure hidden behind knowledge production and criticized the masculine ideology and colonial discourse in natural science. This contradiction between insiders and outsiders not only reveals the political polarization and difficult condition of feminist study in America, but also marks the significant role of pluralism in interdisciplinary understanding.
