摘要
本文提出以多元读写理论为指导的英语语言学课堂教学设计,以功能语言学及物性分析为例详细介绍了课堂教学的各个步骤,并根据教学过程和教学效果讨论了其对语言学教学的启示。研究发现,多元读写理论是解决语言学课程长期存在的枯燥、理论脱离实际等问题行之有效的方法,不仅可以提高学生的兴趣与课堂参与,而且可以训练学生应用语言学知识解决现实问题以及进行语言学学术研究的能力。

This esign Usin paper introduces a classroom based on the multiliteracies g the example of an English linguistics lesson, it provides a detailed discussion of the steps of multiliteracies method, and discusses the implication for the teaching of linguistics based on the process and effect of the multiliteracies teaching. The present research shows that the multiliteracies pedagogy provides an effective way to solve the long existing problems of the linguistics course (e.g., linguistic courses are boring; theories are not related to real life). The multiliteracies pedagogy not only enhances students' interest and class participation, but also cultivates students' ability in applying linguistics knowledge to solving real life problems and conducting academic research in linguistics
