摘要
流布甚广的陈独秀、邓以蛰"世交说"是缺乏历史依据的。两人相识很有可能因邓以蛰姐夫葛温仲介绍,陈独秀与邓父艺孙先生开办尚志学堂的合作及安徽公学期间的同事兼好友关系,进一步拉近两人距离,至于安徽公学的师生之谊、陈本人风采和声望,更使得邓对陈是亦师亦友。两人对文艺本质功能、现代中国书画艺术看法的高度一致,根源在于对改造国民性的高度认同,而国民性问题也是陈独秀对邓以蛰影响最为深刻的地方。
The widely-spread rumors that CHEN Duxiu and DENG Yizhe were old family friends is a lack of historical basis. The two acquaintances are likely due to the introduction by GE Wenzhong, DENG Yizhe＇s sister-in-law, CHEN Duxiu and DENG＇s father became colleagues and friends when they started Shangzhi School and co-worked in Anhui Public School, which further narrowed the distance between the two, the friendship between the teachers and students in Anhui Public School and CHEN＇s prestige also makes CHEN both as a teacher and friend for DENG. The two＇s views on the essential functions of literature and art, modern Chinese painting and calligraphy is highly consistent, rooted in a high degree of recognition on transformation of the national character, while CHEN＇s national issues had a profound impact on DENG.
