语言所具有的使人交流思想、感悟世界、激发情感的功能称为语言能量。网络新词是词语在网络环境下的一种语义变体,词语间新的结合会产生新的意义,获得新的能量。翻译是语言能量的转换过程,在这一过程中,译者要遵循语言能量观的原则,采用多种翻译方法翻译网络新词。
Language energy refers to the power of a language that enables people to communicate their thoughts, to perceive the world and to activate emotions, lnternet neologism is a semantic variant of words in the environment of the internet. The new combination of words produces innovative meanings and creates fresh expressive power. Translation is a process of converting language energy. The translators should abide by the principle of language energy and meanwhile use different translation methods to translate the internet neologism.
