摘要
伊斯兰教中国化首先是语言的汉语化,王岱舆是这方面的开拓者、先行者。他认为汉语不属于"哈他",完全能够翻译、诠释伊斯兰教教义。在翻译、诠释的实践中,他不仅翻译了阿文的范畴、概念,而且创造性地诠释了汉语的词汇,将伊斯兰教与儒家的思想内容注入其中,并构建了伊斯兰教的汉语话语体系框架与表述方式,从而为伊斯兰教中国化,为确立汉语伊斯兰教在伊斯兰教世界的地位,作出了积极贡献。
The Sinification of Islam begins first and foremost with its conceptual transformation through the Chi- nese language. In this regard,Wang Daiyu stands as the pioneer and frontiersman of its development. Wang be- lieved that the Chinese language was perfectly capable of translating and interpreting the tenets and language of Islam. In the process of translating and interpreting,Wang not only translated the domain and concepts from Arabic, but also innovated new Chinese terms and vocabulary to encompass these ideas by combining the more-colloquial- ly-understood Confucian thought of the time with Islamic thought and giving birth to a unique form of Chinese dis- course-based Islamic thought structure through edited Confucian terms. It is thus precisely through this that Wang established the basis by which Sinicized Islam developed henceforth, and thus left his mark of contribution.
