摘要
放射治疗(放疗)是目前肿瘤治疗的主要手段之一,尽管其技术和设备不断更新和发展,仍无法避免其不良反应。提高放疗的临床疗效和减轻其不良反应是当前面临的课题。大量临床研究表明,放疗中配合中医药不仅在改善和控制临床症状、提高肿瘤患者生存质量和机体免疫功能以及远期生存率、提高对放疗的增敏作用及预防肿瘤转移与复发等方面有显著疗效;而且在减轻放射性炎症损伤、拮抗骨髓抑制改善外周血象、减轻消化系统毒性等方面也有明显作用。放疗与中医药结合为肿瘤综合治疗提供了更为广阔的空间。
Radiotherapy is one of the main means of clinical treatment for cancer, although the continuous updating and develop- ment of technology and equipment, adverse reactions and side effects cant be avoided yet. Improving the clinical efficacy of radiothera- py and reducing its adverse reactions are the currently facing subjects. A large number of clinical studies showed that using traditional Chinese medicines（TCM）in tumor radiotherapy had significant effects of improving and controlling the clinical symptoms, improving the life quality of cancer patients, improving the sensitization of radiotherapy, preventing the tumor metastasis and recurrence, as well as improving immune function and long-term survival, etc. Meanwhile, TCM also had significant roles in reducing the damage of radio- active inflammation, decreasing the bone marrow suppression to improve peripheral blood, and reducing the toxicity of digestive sys- tem, etc. The combination of radiotherapy and TCM provides a broader space for the comprehensive treatment of tumors.
