摘要
近年来,美国电视连续剧通过网络涌入中国,其主要观赏形式是利用中文字幕来观赏原文影片。但是在字幕翻译中,由于文化背景差异,以及对美国当代口语发展的滞后,在对美剧字幕的翻译中,常常出现误译,错译等现象,以致观众对剧情产生误解。因此通过美剧字幕的特点进行详细剖析,参考对美国电影,戏剧等影视作品的分析方法及技巧,加之利用奈达的功能对等理论,即可总结出美剧字幕翻译可以采取的一系列策略以及技巧。
Nowadays,the American series is flooding into China through Internet. Most of the Chinese viewers enjoy the series with the original sound and Chinese subtitle. Therefore the significance of subtitle translation has appeared obviously. Via analysing some features of the language used in American series and the related translation skills inspired by the theories of Functional Equivalence from Eugene Nida,a series of translation strategies and skills is concluded.
