汉字作为文字教学的“终止期”——基于汉字“字”“语”兼具属性的考量 被引量:8

‘Termination Period'of Chinese Character Teaching——Based on the ‘Character'and ‘Word'Attributes of Chinese Characters

摘要 以往对汉字教学目标、任务及应教字量的讨论并不充分,汉字教学似乎有始无终。本文基于汉字"字""语"兼具的属性,提出汉字教学"终止期"和"最小字量"两个概念。终止期之前汉字作为文字的教学称为汉字教学阶段,之后汉字作为语素的教学称为后汉字教学阶段。汉字作为文字的教学是有止境的,作为语素的教学可以是无止境的。最小字量是个概念量,意在表明作为文字的汉字教学有其特定的内涵和最低标准量,而不是没完没了的汉字教学。确立汉字教学终止期和最小字量、汉字教学阶段和后汉字教学阶段的理念,有助于凸显和加强汉字作为文字符号的教学,有助于转移和延伸汉字作为语素的后汉字教学,从而有助于分解汉字教学和化解汉字难学。 In the past,the discussion of the objectives,tasks and amount of teaching characters is not sufficient,and Chinese character teaching seems to be endless.Based on the'character'and'word'attributes of Chinese characters,we proposed two concepts of'termination period'and'minimum character amount'of Chinese character teaching.Before the termination period,Chinese characters are taught as characters and the teaching is called Chinese character teaching stage;after the termination period,Chinese characters are taught as morphemes and the teaching is called post-Chinese character teaching stage.Chinese character teaching is limited,while morpheme teaching can be endless.The minimum character amount is just a conceptual quantity,which is put forward to show that Chinese character teaching is not endless,instead,it has specific connotation and minimum quantity.Proposing and determining these concepts is helpful to highlight and strengthen the teaching of Chinese characters as literal symbols,transfer and extend the teaching of Chinese characters as morphemes,and further resolve the problem that Chinese characters are difficult to learn by dividing the teaching process.
