摘要
"骷髅"这一母题历史上由来已久,中西绘画史上都有着丰富的内涵,只是这种主题到后期有了不同程度的变异,不断演变延伸出新的主题。即"骷髅"这一母题原型在中西方的不同的文化背景下,加入了不同的次级母题元素,从而呈现出一种新的母题意象,表现出不同的主题,这一形象囊括了人生百态,蕴含中西死亡观人生观。我国清代罗聘的《鬼趣图》和文艺复兴时期小荷尔拜因的《死亡舞蹈》是骷髅题材的绘画作品,图像中的母题、题材和表达方式都表现出一定的相似性,更多地倾向于骷髅母题谐俗、幽默、具有讽刺意味的形象,展现出一种"鬼趣"和"死亡舞蹈"的碰撞。本文比较在不同的环境下两种不同文化孕育的艺术形象,重点在于在跨文化框架中对"骷髅"母题的探讨。
The motif of“ skeleton” has a long history and rich connotation in the history of Chinese and Western paintings, but this theme varies and extends new themes. In other words, the motif prototype of “ skeleton”is added with different subordinate motif elements in different cultural back-grounds of the Orient and West, which presents new images, shows different themes, encompasses the diversity of life and implies the concept of life and death in the Orient and West. Ghost Map, the work of China,s Luo Pin in the Qing Dynasty and Death Dance, that of Hans Holbein during the Re-naissance, are paintings with skeleton as theme, whose motif in the images, subject matter and ways of expression have shown a certain similarity, which are more inclined to a secular, humorous, iron-ic image of the skeleton motif, showing a collision of “ ghost” and “ death dance”. This paper com-pares artistic images of two different cultures in different environments, focusing on the discussion of the “ skeleton” motif in the cross-cultural framework.
