刚玉砂轮用K_2O-B_2O_3-Al_2O_3-SiO_2玻璃结合剂的研究 被引量:2

摘要 采用传统熔体冷却法制备了K_2O-B_2O_3-Al_2O_3-SiO_2玻璃,探讨了组成中B_2O_3替代Al_2O_3对玻璃热膨胀性能、抗弯强度及析晶稳定性的影响。并优选该体系玻璃为刚玉砂轮结合剂,通过分析结合剂材料的特征温度确定了砂轮的烧成温度。研究结果表明,随B_2O_3逐渐取代Al_2O_3,玻璃的热膨胀系数呈降低趋势,强度先升高后降低。当B_2O_3含量为12wt.%时,可获得膨胀系数与刚玉相匹配、强度为117.8 MPa的玻璃材料。该体系玻璃具有较低的软化温度与流动温度,以所制备玻璃为结合剂,在1000℃保温2 h的烧结条件下可制备出性能优良的刚玉砂轮产品。 K2O-B2O3-Al2O3-SiO2 glass was prepared by traditional melt cooling method, and the effect of B203 instead of AI203 on thermal expansion, bending strength and crystallization stability of glasses was investigated. The system glass was selected as the binder for corundum grinding wheel, and the firing temperature of the grinding wheel was determined by analyzing the characteristic temperature of the binder material. The results show that, with B203 gradually replacing A1203, glass thermal expansion coefficient decreased and the bending strength increased first and then decreased. When the B203 content was 12wt.%, the glass with the bending strength of 117.8 MPa and the expansion coefficient matching corundum could be obtained. With the prepared glass as binder, the corundum grinding wheel products with excellent properties could be prepared when the sintering temperature was 1000℃ and the holding time was 2h.
