摘要
英国作家玛格丽特·德拉布尔的长篇小说《红王妃》,以其独特的叙事结构向读者展示了18世纪朝鲜王宫各色女性的悲剧命运以及现代英国女博士悲惨的一生。从女性主义视角出发,分别对小说中来自不同时代、不同国家的两种女性形象进行解读,揭示了在父权制社会中的女性是如何努力摆脱生存困境并成为经济独立、思想解放的新女性的。
Margaret Drabble,one the most famous female writers in contemporary Britain,has published a novel named The Red Queen. This novel shows different kinds of women's tragic fate in the eighteenth century in North Korea and a modern doctress' miserable life in Britain by its unique narrative structure. This paper aims to analyze two types of female images from different ages and different countries in the novel from the perspective of feminism,and to disclose how can women get rid of the living predicament in patriarchal society and become new women with economic independence and liberation thought.
