摘要
译者作为文学翻译活动的主体,其主体性是不言而喻的。但是,如何把握好主体性发挥的限度,恰如其分地发挥好主体性的作用,是翻译研究和实践需要解决的现实问题。本文首先从艺术美学的视角,阐述了译者忠实性的体现和创造性的发挥,指出译者在翻译中应该把握好主体性发挥的限度;其次从译者具有的双重身份角度,描述了译者能动性的发挥和受动性的制约,指出能动性和受动性表面上相互矛盾,实质上却相互统一。最后得出,译者主体性的发挥就是忠实与创造的完美结合,能动与受动的辩证统一以及各主体的相互协调。
Translator’s subjectivity is self-evident in literary translation. However, how to appropriately take the translator’ s initiative is the practical problem in translation research and practice. This paper, firstly, illustrates the translator’ s fidelity and creativity, and then points out the constraints of translator’ s subjectivity from a perspective of aesthetics. In addition, the paper describes translator’s initiative and passivity and indicates that the translator’ s initiative and passivity are both contradictory and unified. Finally, it is concluded that the translator’ s subjectivity is the perfect integration of fidelity and creativity, dialectical unity of initiative and passivity and mutual coordination among subjects.
