摘要
近代实行高中会考制度的基本目的在于以考促学、借由考试保障基本教育教学质量;其历史渊源可以追溯至传统科举考试,直接前身则为清末新式学堂的毕业考试。就制度构成而言,近代高中会考包括组织工作、科目与命题、成绩核算以及优劣奖惩等基本方面。近代高中会考制度,一方面对当时高中教育教学产生了重要促进作用;另一方面也引发多重争论,包括造成学生考试负担过重、损害学生身心健康,造成应试主义教育,并由此而出现将其与高校入学考试合并举行的讨论与试验。探讨近代高中会考制度,可以为当前高中学业水平考试纳入高校招生评价体系的改革实践提供若干有益启示。
High school uniform examination (HSUE) in modern China could encourage students to study hard, so as to guarantee quality of teaching. The historical origin of HSUE was imperial examination in ancient times, and its predecessor was the graduation examination in the end of Qing dynasty. Basic constituents of HSUE include organizing, subject, proposition, scoring, reward and punishment etc. on the one hand, modern HSUE exerted direct and positive influence on education. On the other hand, it also had much negative influences, such as increasing learning burden, injuring both body and mind health, bringing about exam-aim education. In such a situation, voices of merging HSUE and college entrance examination appeared and were further put into practice. To study modern HSUE is of great significance, it is very referential to reform of incorporating academic proficiency examination into college admissions evaluation system.
