摘要
《儒林外史》作为我国第一部讽刺小说,其对士林日常生活的描写,生动的再现了"一代文人之厄"。全书共56回,几乎每回都涉及到茶事的相关描写,如上茶待客、吃茶用法、饮茶场所,等等,上至文人士大夫,下至市井流民,尽数囊括其中,可以说"茶"在《儒林外史》中有着深刻寓意。通过儒林世人在茶事活动中的种种表现,展现了明清时期文人地位的逐渐没落,以及其游离于世大夫文化与市井文化之间的困窘生存状态。
