摘要
哈佛大学建立于英属北美殖民地时期,以培养牧师为初衷,以剑桥大学为蓝本。从阿什比高等教育生态学理论的观点来看,哈佛大学是英国剑桥大学的办学模式与美国英属殖民地的特殊环境相结合的产物。哈佛大学守住了剑桥大学的形式和自由精神,在管理与环境的变化中寻求突破,在"守"与"变"中借助杰出校长的领导实现了自我生长,并成为世界一流的现代大学。哈佛大学模式移植的范式,可以为我国高等教育的发展和世界一流大学的建设提供经验与借鉴。
Harvard University was founded in the period of British colonies in North America; its original intention is to foster the priest, and it takes University of Cambridge as the blueprint. From the viewpoint of the higher education ecology of Ashby, Harvard University is the binding product of the University of Cambridge school-running mode and special circumstances of the British colonies in the United States. Harvard University holds the form and free spirit of the University of Cambridge, seeks a breakthrough in the change of management and environment, realizes its self-growth during the “hold” and “change” with the help of the outstanding principal’s leadership, and finally becomes the first-class university in the world. The paradigm of the model transplant in Harvard University can provide experiences for the development of higher education and the construction of world first-class university of China.
