摘要
此文乃刘再复对旅美学者米家路著作《望道与旅程——环宇诗学浪游手卷》所写的序言。他评价这是有非凡价值的诗学著作,试图打通诗歌批判与文化批判的血脉,认为米家路的书写可视为"放逐"与"还乡"的主题变奏——诗人作为"人",在现代社会中被消解了。人失去了自己,失去了人的尊严与人的骄傲,失去了"人的完整性"。诗的困境背后是人的困境。在现代化的大潮流中,诗人需要"挺住",不做潮流中人,只作潮流外人。
This is a preface that Liu Zalfu wrote to Chasing the Dao： A Neuromancer＇s Scrolls of Planetary Poetics by Jialu Mi, a Chinese scholar sojourning in America. As Liu comments, this is a work on poetics that is of extraordinary values as it attempts to connect poetic critique with cultural critique, and Liu is of the view that Mi＇ s work can be regarded as a variation on the theme of＇ exile＇ and ＇return home＇ as the poet as a human being has been dissolved in modern society, in which the human being has lost himself or herself, he or she has lost his or her dignity and pride as well as his or her＇totality as an individual＇, with the human predicament lying behind the poetic predicament. In the tide of modernity, the poet must hold his or her own ground by not being part of the tide but someone external to the tide.
