中国服务业工资差异的决定因素:垄断还是创新 被引量:4

摘要 随着中国逐渐形成以服务业为主体的经济格局,服务业的工资差异已经成为居民收入差距的重要成因。研究发现,行业的所有制垄断是服务业企业工资差异的主要原因。技术创新对服务业工资水平影响不显著,但它和垄断结合起来能产生较大的工资溢价。分所有制看,影响国有企业工资水平的主要因素是创新,而非国有企业的工资遵循效率导向机制。分技术创新程度看,技术创新程度高的企业,工资决定偏效率导向,所有制垄断的影响不明显,技术创新程度低的企业,受垄断影响较大。如上结论表明:改革服务业国有企业的薪酬分配机制,有助于减缓收入差距;从收入角度引导建立绩效工资体系,有利于激励企业创新。 With the formation of the service economy in China,the wage gap in the service industry has become a central cause of the income gap. With the focus on monopoly and innovation,this paper investigates the wage determination of service firms by applying listed companies' data at firm levels based on the dual structure of service industry. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1) In all groups administrative monopoly has the dominant effect on wage while the effect of technology change is not significant. A combination of innovation and monopoly power can generate a big wage premium. 2) In SOEs the dominant factor of wage determination is technology innovation while in the non-SOEs is the productivity. 3) Wages are determined by productivity in those firms with high R&D expenditure. On the contrary,wages are determined by monopoly power in firms with no R&D expenditure. The findings have two aspects of policy implications,income gap can be eased by reforming salary distribution system of service SOEs and a performance compensation system will help motive innovation.
