摘要
清代来华传教士生物学译著中引介了大量开创先河的生物学术语,这些术语由西方来华传教士与我国学者共同创译而得,且有许多术语沿用至今。这些术语的创译既规范了晚清生物学的术语表达方式,也使晚清生物学研究逐步进入近代意义的发展阶段。此外,清代来华传教士生物学译著也论及了近代西方生物学研究中的科研方法及研究成果等内容,极大地推动了晚清生物学的发展。
There were a lot of creatively translated biological terms in the biological translations by the missionaries coming to China in Qing dynasty . These terms were translated cooperatively by the mis-sionaries and Chinese scholars , most of which had been passed on to modern biological field. The crea-tive translation of these terms had not only standardized the biological terms in late Qing dynas ty , but also led the biological research in Qing dynasty to the modern period of development. What7 s more , the biological translations introduced the research methodology and achievements in modern western biological research , promoting the development of biology in late Qing dynasty .
