摘要
有学者称焦菊隐的"心象说"对斯坦尼斯拉夫斯基表演体系存在误解,"心象说"应该看作焦菊隐综合体验、表现及中国传统戏曲理论的结果,然而,通过考察焦菊隐研读斯氏著作的史实,并将焦菊隐所论与斯氏相关著述对读,可以看出:焦菊隐所说"在你生活于角色之前,首先使角色生活于你"虽非斯氏原话,但也不是随意杜撰;而焦菊隐对斯氏《演员自我修养》第二部有关"性格化"的理解,恰与斯氏手稿之言不谋而合。焦菊隐的"心象说"并未违背斯氏体系精神,只是在方法层面上有所不同,故与其说焦菊隐的"心象说"是综合三家之说的产物,不如说是斯氏表演体系的中国变体。
Some people hold that JIAO Ju-yin's interpretation of the theory of "Inner Image" is not equivalent to, and has some misapprehensions about, the original concept in Stanislavski's system. They advocate that JIAO's theory should be viewed as a mixture of the "art of experiencing", the "art of representation", and also the experiences of Chinese traditional opera performances. However, JIAO had a careful study of Stanislavski's works. While comparing the works of both art- ists, it can be concluded that JIAO's idea maintains consistency with Stanislavski's theory. In fact, JIAO has once stated that "before you experience the role, let the role experience you". This view is not something arbitrary: it is an interpretation of Stanislavski's theory from some other approaches and perspectives. Therefore, it might not be accurate to regard his theory of "Inner Image" merely as a product developing from the "art of experiencing" and the "art of representation", and this pa- per intends to argue that his theory should actually be a flexible variation of Stanislavski's system in the particular environ- ment of China.
