摘要
过量自由基引起的氧化胁迫是导致衰老和多种疾病的重要原因,目前已知许多天然产物具有抗氧化作用。近年来的研究表明,多种中药来源的多肽可以通过清除过量自由基而有效减轻机体的氧化损伤,并且在延缓衰老和防治氧化胁迫相关疾病方面具有较大潜力。本文简要综述了中药多肽的抗氧化活性研究现状及其抗氧化作用机制。
Oxidative stress triggered by excessive free radicals is a major cause of ageing and related diseases, and a large number of natural products are known to have antioxidant effect. Recent studies suggest that a variety of peptides derived from traditional Chinese medicine can reduce oxidative damage by scavenging excessive free radicals and thus have a great potential in delaying ageing process and preventing oxidative stress-related diseases. This paper reviews the research progress on antioxidant activities of peptides derived from traditional Chinese medicine and the mechanism of action of antioxidant peptides.
