摘要
二战结束后不久,美苏两国就因为社会制度、意识形态和战后国家战略构想的不同逐步走向冷战。这场持续近半个世纪的冷战给美国社会的各个层面带来了难以磨灭的影响,文学创作就是其中之一。冷战肇始,美国各个流派的作家摈弃前嫌,共同承担起了通过文学创作来反映冷战背景下美国社会的历史使命,创作出了一部部带有冷战色彩的文学作品。借助历史唯物主义原理和文学批评的方法来探究战后初期美国文学创作,厘清其创作的历史背景、主题思想和表现手法,以揭示冷战对美国文学创作产生的深层影响。
Shortly after the Second World War, the USA and the USSR fell in the Cold War because of the difference in social system, ideology as well as the post-war national strategy. The 50-year-long special war has influenced the American society in almost all respects, and literary creation is one of them. During the Cold War, the American writers took as their historic duty the creation of the literary works reflecting the American society, thus resulting in numerous marvelous literary works. The au- thor applies the historic materialist principle and the literary critic methods to analyze the American literature during the Cold War and to make clear its historic background, its themes as well as its expression styles, so as to reveal the real influence of the Cold War on the American literature.
