摘要
国旗是民族国家构建的产物,也是民族国家的重要象征。无论是在国内政治层面,还是在国际政治层面,国旗都发挥着异乎寻常的作用。新中国将缔造国旗等国家象征作为国家建设的一项重要内容。国旗具有具象化国家权力的功能,能为国家权力的合法化提供情感载体与物质依托,并能帮助国家实现有效社会动员。五星红旗经过了严格的初选和复选过程。新中国国旗征选表明,民族国家的兴起,不仅意味着国家政权的建立,以及国家权力的集中和向社会的渗透,而且还意味着国家象征体系的确立与深入人心。
The national flag is the product of nation-state construction and also an important symbol of the nation- state. The national flag plays an exotic role not only at the domestic political but also the international political levels. New China made creating a national flag and other national symbols as an important part of state-building. The flag has the function of reifying state power, which can provide an emotional carrier and material support for the legalization of state power, and help the country achieve effective social mobilization. The designation of the Five-starred Red Flag went through a rigorous elementary and secondary election process. The election of the new Chinese national flag indicates that the rise of nation-state not only means the establishment of state power, but the concentration of state power and the infiltrated into the society. It also indicates the establishment of the national symbol system and how the system deeply rooted in the hearts of people.
