The modern anarchist movements of Taiwan and Korea emerged under the Japanese colonial rule. The anarchist movement in Taiwan started in the 1920s, and has gone through successively the two stages of the cooperation and division be- tween the anarchism and Bolshevism, in the process of which the Korean anarchist Shin Chae Ho is the representative who has cooperated with Taiwan Residents anarchist for a long time. Shin and his Taiwan Residents anarchist, Lin Bingwen, the uncle of Lin Haiyin, the well-known Taiwan woman writer, were engaged in covert operations separately in the northeast and Taiwan in 1928 in the name of the "Oriental anarchist alliance". Although both of them were arrested in two different places, the efforts they made to overthrow the Japanese colonial rule and the revolutionary cooperation they formed between China and South Korea are worth re- membering and narrating.
