摘要
事实与价值的关系,即"是"与"应当"的关系问题,史称"休谟问题"。当今学术界对朱熹"格物致知"论的讨论,主要是围绕着这一理论中所蕴含的事实与价值的关系问题而展开的。从朱熹对"格物致知"所进行的论述中,我们也可以看到朱熹在解决事实与价值、知识与道德、科学与人文等矛盾问题上所作的探索。朱熹的"格物致知"论体现了事实与价值、知识与道德的有机统一,有助于避免工具主义与价值主义的对峙。吸取朱熹"格物致知"论中的合理因素,对于我们当代的大学教育,尤其是道德教育的良性发展具有重要意义。
The relationship between fact and value is the Is--ought problem, which is the "Hume's law". Nowadays, the discussion about Zhu Xi's Theory of "Learning by Investigating" is mainly on its implication of the relationship between the fact and value. From the Zhu Xi's explanation on this theory, we can also see his investigation on the contradiction of fact and value, knowledge and morality, science and humanity. Theory of "Learning by Investigating" reflects the unification of fact and value, knowledge and morality, which is beneficial for the prevention of the opposition of instrumentalism and Valualism. The beneficial components of this theory give us the inspiration on the benign development of the contemporary college moral education.
