Predicament and Transcendence of Excess Competition in Education

摘要 近年来,我国基础教育阶段的竞争愈演愈烈,教育竞争已经超出极限,达到过度竞争的状态。基于调查、访谈、国际比较和已有文献梳理,发现过度教育竞争带来了严重的后果:给学生造成沉重的身心负担,使得教育难以培养出杰出人才;学校难以走出"应试教育"模式,很难办出特色;强化功利教育导向,不利于增强国家竞争力。要走出过度教育竞争的困境,必须改革考试评价制度,推进义务教育均衡发展,革新教育观念和人才观念。 During the past years, competition in China^s basic education has become increasingly fierce, and then be-yond the limit. Based on filed studies? interviews, international comparisons and literature analyses; this article finds that excess competition in education has caused serious consequenese. In order to get out of the predicament of excess competi-tion in education, it is badly necessary to reform examination and evaluation system? promote balanced development of compulsory education, and innovate concepts of education and talent.
