摘要
有贺长雄是明治时代的知识精英,在社会学、宪法学、国际法学和外交史等诸多学科领域均取得了突出成绩,先后做过明治政府官员和早稻田大学法学教授,常年耕耘在明治时代政界、军界和新闻界,履历背景带有鲜明的官方色彩。而且他还是一名社会活跃分子,试图对政治变革和普通民众产生影响,使自身的知识理论付诸实践并发挥作用,这些特征在很大程度上预示了其后来赴任北洋政府宪法顾问的所言所行。
Ariga Nagao , an intellectual elite in Meiji Era , has made an outstanding achievements in many subject areas, such as sociology, constitution law, international law, diplomacy history etc. Not on-ly he worked in the political circles of the Meiji Period many years, but also was closely related to the military circles and press circles. Although his resume is full of official background, but still had the high expectation for the construction of constitutional framework, and attempted to put the theory in-to practice. In a way, the China-linked experience of his previous life is a precursor that served as aconstitutional consultant several years later.
